Our level 1 introduction to DSLR photography is a great way to begin the process of getting the best out of digital SLR cameras. The day is the first of 3 training session’s level 1, 2 and 3 which will take you through a logical process of mastering the camera's control. Each of the 3 days include 3 training sessions, 2 practical tutorials where you will have the opportunity to put your new found knowledge into practice.
The days can be booked individually or in combination with a 10% discount for 2 or more days. A key feature of these training sessions is very small group sizes with only 4 delegates on any given day. In this way we are able to really concentrate on every individual and make sure they are explained in a way that everyone understands and can relate to their personal equipment.
Our level 1 day aims to cover the following topics:
Camera Basic controls (coming off 'Full Auto')
ISO settings
Exposure Compensation
Histograms
White Balance
Composition
Picture Styles/Image optimisation settings
File Types (Jpeg/RAW)
Basic Workflow on your computer
The day begins with meeting your tutor and setting out the objectives for the day over a welcome tea/coffee we will then spend the morning on the first of 3 training sessions followed by a practical tutorial at a nearby location a short drive from the office. We will then break for a well earned sandwich lunch with the opportunity to cover more topics in the second training module. The afternoon will begin with our second practical session and we will then return to the office for the 3rd and final training session and end the afternoon with question and answers.
