Our Big Cat Photography Workshops have always been a very popular event for us and these amazing animals make such great subjects! We offer half day sessions at both Knowsley Safari Park and Woburn Safari Park, where you can expect to get VIP access to Lions and Tigers.

The locations offer slightly different forms of access but both include around 2.5 hours of photography focusing largely on the big cats within the collections. Lions are accessed by special ‘off road’ 4×4 vehicles and Tigers are again photographed from positions not available to general visitors. There should also be some time to see other animals as we travel around the park and the sessions are fully escorted by our highly experienced guides and drivers.

The last few years have kept us all super busy with our UK workshop program, but we’ve run many longer expeditions in the past and now we are getting back ‘out there’ for some awesome photography! Why not think about joining us in the coming months on one of our fully guided photographic expedition tours.

We have spent many years working in rural Norway with expert guide, Ole Martin Dahle,  to offer the fantastic opportunity to join him photographing stunning wild Golden Eagles, White Tailed Sea Eagles and Goshawks in the beautiful surroundings of Flatanger. We have run this trip many times and it is a firm favourite because of the simply stunning images that can be achieved. Our unique autumn itinerary offers not only shooting White Tailed Sea Eagles in the fjords but also the illusive Golden Eagle and Goshawk from bespoke hides. There cannot be many subjects as thrilling to encounter as Great Apes and Orang-Utans, these seemingly shy, gentle giants, never fail to impress with their power and intelligence. Making them the perfect subject for close portrait pictures, with interesting features and stunning colouring. This trip will take us deep into the jungles of the National Park, on our live aboard boats, to find the feeding stations where we can photograph these amazing subjects. As with all of our tours the local guides are working hard to conserve the area and the species for future generations and tourism goes a long way to helping this. David has just returned from this years amazing tour, which saw our small group shooting some fantastic images in both snow and sunshine. This trip is a firm favourite, which always see’s our customers going away with lovely images of the enigmatic species of the Cairngorm Mountains. With the help of our good friend Neil McIntyre, we get to see the lovely Red Squirrel in the fabulous back drop of the Scottish mountains and the tiny Crested Tit coming in to feeders. We are just waiting for the costs to be updated from our amazing hosts for 2021, but with 2020 long since sold out, we know many of you are waiting for these new dates. 2021 will be our 17th year of running trips and we still love going out to see the Bears. The two varied itinerary’s, give very distinct pictures and different Bears, but we can’t wait to get out there and see who is about this year!
