Just like many other businesses, We have obviously had a quiet 8 weeks or so following the ‘lock down’ guidance of the UK government. Fortunately the overall situation seems be be steadily improving and yesterday the government suggested, all being well, photography studios together with all retail stores and other ancillary activities should be able to re-open on June 15th. Needless to say there will still be restrictions and social distancing guidelines in place to make this safe, but, for us, it is welcome news of the prospect of starting to see customers again.
Whilst the situation continues to be dynamic, our intention is to re-open on a limited basis on June 15th, assuming this fully complies with the government advice at that time. Initially the plan is to open with 1-2-1’s and new events, but essentially only having a group size of just 1 customer at a time (or up to 2 guests, providing they are members of the same household). It is also fair to say this will depend on Knowsley Safari Park (within which we are based) also being re-opened for business.
It is also very important to note that we are working on a whole range of measures to ensure this can happen with our customers safety being paramount. Our studio, meeting room, vehicles and bathroom facilities have all been adapted to allow for social distancing and high levels of virus protection. Initially this will be made easier by limiting our activities to only 1 guide and 1 customer for each event.
It is our plan to keep everyone updated via e-mail, social media and the website with more details as this date approaches but fingers crossed we will get the green light to take bookings from June 15th. Watch this space!
