Photography workshops have been at the heart of the Wild Arena business since the very beginning. We pride ourselves on offering a select range of high-quality events where we put our guests and their photography first. Every event is guided by one of our highly experienced, expert team and we aim to combine great picture opportunities with advice and ideas to help support your photography. Over many years we have worked with a wide range of partner venues and this has given us a wealth of experience in providing the best experience for our guests. Check out the ‘about us’ section to see who might be leading the workshops you are considering. All of our guides try to ensure an enjoyable fun packed day with the technical experience to help you build your photography knowledge. Please note the majority of our group indoor and vehicle based events are still on hold, but please checkout our one to one for safari and studio events. If you have a voucher for any of the events not available please send us an email. Please click on the FAQ's at the bottom of the site for the latest updates.

Macro Photography Workshop

Here at Wild Arena we have long been involved in Macro photography and we have built up a wealth of knowledge in this area with regards to the photography and the subjects. Working with our good friends at Wilkinson Cameras and Animal Teach, we're really pleased to be able to offer an informative day in a well set up studio with fantastic subjects.

Architecture in the Landscape Photography Workshop

The Elan Valley area of central Wales is a beautiful location for photography. Wild hillsides and wooded valleys are great for natural landscapes, but the industrial heritage of the area adds another whole dimension to the possible subjects to be found there. Between 1893 and 1954, 4 dams were constructed to hold water to supply Birmingham, 118 miles to the east. These impressive structures are a great focus for pictures and really provide something special
