Mountain hares are a very special species in the UK, they are Britain’s only true arctic/alpine mammal and our only native species of hare (both brown hares and rabbits were introduced). The difficulty of photographing mountain hares is in the title ‘mountain’. You have to earn every image, there is no sitting in a hide all day waiting. You are exposed to whatever weather a day in the Scottish mountains will throw at you. Endurance, fitness, patience and a little bit of luck are all needed but when everything comes together it can be a magical experience.
Each Winter Kevin Morgans makes the long trek North to spend 5 weeks with these elusive creatures, this talk will tell tales of his time spent with these amazing creatures and the hardships both photographer and animal alike have to face each Winter.
As with all of our on-line, ‘Zoom’ presentations, we will limit the number of delegates to provide ample opportunity for everyone to ask their own, individual questions.
We want you to enjoy as many of these presentations as possible and as there is so much choice, with different speakers covering different subjects we are offering an amazing ‘Multi buy Bonanza’ 20% discount for 6 tickets on our on-line talks.
So you can buy 6 tickets, of your choice, for only £120 (members £96) by putting this product in your basket. This means you can save a whopping £30 on the regular price (members save a massive £54 off regular prices)!
