|What we aim to cover||
Oliver has been doing close-up photography for many years and does a lot of high magnification macro photography out in the field. To master this, he has spent a lot of time working on his own specific techniques, including ‘hand-held stacking’. This technique, whilst far from easy, enables him to overcome the perennial issue of limited ‘depth of field’ in extreme close up images and is possible to employ in real life, field situations.
Stacking is often considered ‘the’ macro specialist technique, and Oliver has created a reputation as a master of this idea. He will illustrate his presentation with a selection of his images and describe the stories and techniques behind them.
- What is stacking
- Why would you stack
- The basics of stacking
- The difference between tripod stacking and handheld stacking
- How to practise the techniques
- How to process the images
As with all of our on-line, ‘Zoom’ presentations, we will limit the number of delegates to provide ample opportunity for everyone to ask their own, individual questions.
We want you to enjoy as many of these presentations as possible and as there is so much choice, with different speakers covering different subjects we are offering an amazing ‘Multi buy Bonanza’ 20% discount for 6 tickets on our on-line talks.
So you can buy 6 tickets, of your choice, for only £120 (members £96) by putting this product in your basket. This means you can save a whopping £30 on the regular price (members save a massive £54 off regular prices)!
