Light.
OK, it’s a real cliché but light is the ‘engine and architect’ of the content in every single image. Not that we wander about mumbling about “oh the light, the light’, but it is great when you realise you are seeing things in light that might pass-by someone who hasn’t been thinking about shooting images.
This is a real simple shot of an old church doorway, but the setting sun was half illuminating the texture & colour of the building, which we really liked.
Has anyone got any shots to share where you feel the light has been the making of it?
