Dunrobin & Big Burn Photo Walk Photography Workshop

Inspired Experience | A Relaxed Day of Photography, Fresh Air and Shared Ideas

Another of our favourite photo walks at one of our favourite locations! As always, we’ll meander through some beautiful spots, chatting, taking photographs and enjoying a relaxed day together (and yes… there will be biscuits).

Our Inspired Photo Walks are friendly, informal meet-ups designed to combine fresh Highland air with creative encouragement. They’re perfect if you’d like some light guidance, inspiring surroundings and good company, without the intensity of a formal workshop.

This two-location walk begins at the beautiful Big Burn waterfall trail, following a winding path through a picturesque wooded gorge. After a relaxed lunch stop, we’ll head to the stunning grounds of Dunrobin Castle, focusing on the gardens and external views of this magnificent building.

What You Can Expect During Your Session

Our Photo Walks are built around three simple ideas:

Community

It’s refreshing to spend time with people who share your passion. These walks create space for conversation, encouragement and shared inspiration.

Creativity

Walking with a camera helps us slow down and notice more. You’ll be encouraged to experiment, try new perspectives and develop your own way of seeing.

Light Guidance

While not intensive workshops, your guides will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions, offer technical tips and suggest creative approaches.

Creative

Photography is one of the simplest ways to express how you see the world. These walks offer a relaxed space to create something personal, while sharing ideas and inspiration with others.

Learning

Some of the best learning comes from simply being around other photographers. Seeing how others approach the same scene can open up new ideas and fresh ways of thinking.

Discover

There’s always something new to discover—whether it’s a hidden detail in the landscape, a new perspective, or a different way of seeing the world around you.
