​A Creative Retreat in the Heart of the Scottish Highlands

Our small gift shop at Forsinard Lodge features a carefully chosen collection of gifts, books and artwork inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of the Scottish Highlands.

​

Wherever possible, we work with local artists and makers from the north of Scotland, alongside a range of products sourced from Scottish suppliers and small independent businesses. The result is a shop filled with items that reflect the character of the Highlands and make thoughtful souvenirs or gifts.

​

You’ll find a variety of handmade and locally inspired items including jewellery, pottery, glass art, candles and textiles. Some pieces are created by local makers, such as crochet hats, gloves and clothing, as well as handcrafted jewellery and decorative glass pieces like sun catchers and tea lights. We also stock beautiful sheep’s wool products including hats, seat pads and dryer balls from Scottish producers.

For readers and armchair adventurers, we have a carefully selected range of books about the Highlands, nature and Scottish adventures, many personally recommended by Janet and David. Alongside these are art prints, photography prints (both framed and unframed), greetings cards, games and jigsaw puzzles inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of Scotland.

You’ll also find a few Highland-themed curiosities and whisky-inspired gifts — perfect for those who appreciate Scotland’s famous spirit, even if we don’t stock the whisky itself.

​

It’s a lovely place to browse after exploring the Flow Country, and many visitors enjoy wandering through the shop while stopping in the tea room for coffee, cake or a freshly baked scone.
