Our Inspired Photo Walks are relaxed, friendly meet-ups designed to combine fresh Highland air with creative encouragement. They’re perfect if you’d like some light guidance, inspiring surroundings and good company — without the intensity of a formal workshop.
Dunnet Bay is an ideal setting for this. With its sweeping beach, fascinating dunes and ever-changing light, it offers endless photographic opportunities — from grand landscapes to intimate details and candid moments.

12.30: Lunch break (please bring a packed lunch) and relaxed photography chat
13.30: Dune walk, exploring alternative angles, textures and storytelling opportunities
15.30: Return for a final hot drink and informal group discussion

Our Photo Walks are built around three simple ideas:

While these are not intensive masterclasses, your guides will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions, offer technical tips and suggest creative approaches.

Photography is one of the most accessible creative outlets we have. During the walk, you’ll be encouraged to explore what interests you most, whether that’s expansive seascapes, textures in the sand, patterns in the dunes or candid moments of coastal life.

There’s always something new to discover in photography. From camera settings and exposure choices to composition and storytelling ideas, we’ll share practical tips to help you feel more confident with your camera.
