Book A Stay

Book a Stay with us at Forsinard Lodge

Forsinard Lodge is a historic Highland lodge surrounded by the wild landscapes of the Flow Country in northern Scotland. Built in 1870 as a hunting and fishing lodge for the Duke of Sutherland’s estate, it now offers peaceful accommodation, a welcoming tea room and a base for exploring one of Europe’s most important peatland landscapes.

Our three guest rooms offer a peaceful and comfortable stay in the heart of the Flow Country.

Each room is designed to feel like a home away from home — warm, welcoming and perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Highlands. With views of the surrounding hills and lodge grounds, it’s a place to slow down, read a book and enjoy the quiet beauty of the far north.

In keeping with the peaceful setting, the rooms do not have televisions due to the remote location and limited signal. Instead, guests will find books to read, comfortable spaces to unwind, and the chance to truly switch off from everyday distractions.

All rooms include:

• Double bed
• En-suite bathroom
• Tea and coffee making facilities
• Bedside sockets for charging devices
• Books to enjoy during your stay

Each room is decorated with beautiful green wallpaper featuring hidden animals — a small detail that guests often enjoy discovering during their stay.

Breakfast is included with every booking.

A Place to Slow Down

Forsinard Lodge is not a place for screens and distractions — it’s a place to relax.

With no televisions in the rooms, guests often find themselves enjoying simple pleasures: reading a book, watching the changing light over the hills, or listening to the river flowing past the lodge.

It’s the perfect place to disconnect from technology and reconnect with the landscape.
