Just one lens!
While we were exploring Aberdeen, David and I got talking about lenses.
We've both been making a real effort to travel lighter. Carrying less equipment makes life easier, but we're also discovering that it can open up more photographic opportunities.
Although I took three lenses to Aberdeen, I ended up taking the vast majority of my photographs with just one — my trusty 23mm.
This led to a rather interesting conversation about why we choose particular lenses, whether we really need everything we carry and how our choices influence the photographs we take.

It doesn't have to be your favourite. In fact, why not dig out that poor, forgotten lens that's been sitting at the bottom of your camera bag?
